Creating a Community of Artisans

At Bee & Thistle Marketshops, we are dedicated to supporting local artists and artisans. Our vision is to foster a community where small businesses can create, showcase their unique talents, and flourish together. Our shop is filled with one-of-a-kind treasures, from hand-painted furniture to farmhouse signs and gifts, all crafted by talented individuals from our community.

So, welcome to my world of creativity and craftsmanship! This space is a tribute to the talents that run deep in my family. My mom, a gifted artist who you'll see from time to time at the shop, has always been my inspiration. And then there's Dorie, our adorable pupper-visor whose expertise in the art of napping is unparalleled.

From a young age, I was captivated by the sight of my grandmother and her daughters mastering the art of oil and watercolor painting. Both my grandmothers were skilled with needle and thread, creating beautiful garments and upholstery that adorned our lives and others. My dad, too, contributed to our family's legacy with his mastery in welding and carpentry. Their diverse talents have woven a rich tapestry that undeniably shapes who I am today. Over the years i've developed an admiration for all forms of art, a passion that drives me in everything I create. For me, art is more than just a pastime—it's a expression of inner freedom that has the power to touch hearts and inspire minds.

I have been a painter, a chef, a restauranteur, a graphic artist, and an all around entrepreneur for most of my life. Now I just want to have fun creating! Perhaps you might join me on this journey of creative expression through one of our many workshops.
